About Me

Aloha,
My name is Skye and I'm a Hawai'ian-born, Georgia-bred actor and playwright of mixed-Filipino descent.

I've been doing this performing thing for a while now.  I've done stuff ranging from reimagined classics to purposely under-rehearsed Shakespeare, experimental new works to golden-age musicals, student films and webseries to television pilots and network shows.  Every now and then I even post some guitar noodling online (I might even release an EP ... eventually...).

As an artist, I'm fascinated in exploring the link between peoples' identities and the expectations surrounding them.  I have strong convictions concerning justice.  And I believe a world without exploitation is not only possible, but necessary.

Anyway, thanks for visiting.  I'm always up for conversation and interesting stories. So don't be a stranger.  Hit me up in the middle of the night and let's make something cool.

Upcoming

A few things.
Just got done filming an indie thriller, a fantasy-comedy webseries, and a few commercials. Just waiting for them to finish post-production.

I'm also a playwright.

My full-length play PERIL has had a few festival readings already and is currently being developed through the Alliance Theatre's Reiser Artist Lab.

ALSO

This Spring I will be playing Eben in Eugene O'neill's tragedy Desire Under the Elms at Actor's Express in ATL. It's probably going to be the most challenging role I've ever played and I can't wait to do it!
